Gilchrist Safety Solutions, a trusted leader in construction safety consulting, is seeking a Construction Site Safety Specialist for a full-time, 9-month contract assignment in the Webster, NY area. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead on-site safety for a high-profile industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical construction project.
We’re looking for a hands-on professional who’s passionate about safety, confident in navigating multi-contractor environments, and ready to make an impact on day one.

• Lead on-site safety compliance in alignment with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and client EHS protocols.
• Perform routine site inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses to proactively identify risks.
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, and project managers to foster a strong safety culture.
• Support accident investigations, root cause analyses, and incident reporting.
• Deliver daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and compliance training.
• Prepare and submit safety performance metrics and reporting to stakeholders.
• Apply working knowledge of metal framing and vertical construction safety practices.
