Job Title: Landscaping Construction Site Supervisor
Starting Wage: $25-$30/hour, with potential for increases based on relevant experience. All new team members will be on a 4-6 probation assessment period before being offered a permanent position on our team.

Job Description:
We’re looking for motivated individuals with high standards, initiative, and exceptional attention to detail. This is a full-time seasonal position, requiring 40-50 hours per week from April to November 15th (weather permitting).
Off-Season Opportunity:
From December to March, employees have the chance to join ROCKE Developments, our commercial real estate development company. This role involves building construction and maintenance work, ensuring year-round, full-time employment.
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll lead landscaping construction projects, ensuring operations run efficiently and safely. You will supervise and work alongside a small crew, coordinate with project management, and operate equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute landscape projects within budget and quality standards.
  • Supervise and actively participate in all phases of construction projects.
  • Review project designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure site progress is communicated to the Project Manager.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Foster crew productivity, safety, and morale while training on-site employees as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Conduct service and warranty work when required.
  • Build and maintain professional client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety practices, and Manitoba’s Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Report unsafe conditions and cooperate in incident investigations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction and team supervision.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software and smartphone applications.
