We are a medium sized commercial building company that predominantly works with Local government and schools. Due to our ongoing expansion and business growth, we are looking for a full time, Site manager with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
Projects to begin ASAP
Projects based in South East and eastern suburbs of Melbourne

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have a trade background with preference given to carpentry.

· Strong communication skills, in order to effectively communicate with trades, clients and fellow staff, both verbally and via email etc

Responsibilities

The role of site supervisor will be the on-site supervision and management of trades for the project that you will be assigned. You will be working closely with the Project manager also assigned to that particular site, while their focus will be administrative you will be purely focussed on the day to day running of the site.
Reporting to the company’s director you will be responsible for:
· Day-to-day supervision of site, suppliers, trades, and contractors whilst ensuring our projects are delivered to company standards on time and within budget.
· Overseeing OH&S practises/procedures are maintained and ensure a safe workplace
· Manage the project to the construction programme, specification & site documents
· Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders
· Maintain a strong eye for detail and quality across the project from start to finish
· Maintain and control all on-site records and ensure best building practise
· Use of Project Management software ProCore and safety platform 1breadcrumb
