CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR

We are currently seeking a construction professional to work on as a Site Supervisor in the Greater Toronto Area.

The ideal candidate must have superb communication abilities and sound management skills. Previous experience as a site supervisor in the commercial sector is required. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and EVP or Operations duties include;

  • Overseeing on-site operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring work progresses according to project plans and deadlines
  • Enforcing safety regulations, conducting inspections, and addressing hazards to maintain a secure work environment and compliance with occupational health standards
  • Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers, ensuring materials arrive on time and labourers complete the work according to quality standards
  • Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and project documents to ensure construction aligns with design requirements and engineering standards
  • Troubleshooting on-site challenges, resolving conflicts, and adapting plans to address unexpected delays or issues
  • Maintaining clear communication with project managers, clients, and investors to provide progress updates and address concerns
  • Ensuring proper documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and daily logs, to support project compliance and accountability

Position requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in all areas
  • Valid G-class driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
