JOB DESCRIPTION

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Sr Construction Project Manager to join our team supporting a growing and thriving Mission Critical Construction Practice based in Dallas, TX.

  • Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
  • Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
  • Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
  • Responsible for administering the project from the pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage through procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS Engineering, Construction Project Management or similar curriculum and 8 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience supporting large scale Mission Critical projects
  • Experienced MEP construction experience.
  • Experience supporting ground-up projects
  • 8-12 years of construction experience
  • Prior experience from a large general contractor.
  • Experience in the selection and management of subcontracted labor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with construction documentation.
  • The ability to communicate effectively within a team environment while also working independently is crucial for success in this role.
