SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring substantial field experience, comprehensive construction knowledge, and a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. Applicants must demonstrate past performance on completed projects and be skilled in scheduling, budget management, labor coordination, and subcontractor oversight. Experience with federal and DOD contracts is beneficial but not required. Strong leadership, motivation, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
Additional responsibilities generally will include serving as the Quality Control Manager and Site Safety/Health Officer. Project Superintendents are responsible for scheduling and coordination of self-performed and subcontracted activities. He/She will ensure quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are always available on site. The key focus is on delivering and executing work in a positive, professional manner while maintaining the best customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-5+ years’ experience as a Project Superintendent/Quality Control/SSHO in the DOD commercial construction industry.
  • 5 years of Government experience
  • OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and Construction Quality Management Certifications.

  • Perform duties as Quality Control Manager and Site Safety/Health Officer as required.
  • Oversee the scheduling and coordination of the project.
  • Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate, detailed, written daily reports for each job. Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
  • Travel is required.
