Reporting to the Project Manager Power, we have a new opportunity for a Construction Supervisor to join our team at Mt Isa. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the EPC Contractor through the construction, commissioning, and handover phases of the Sybella Creek Renewable Facility, ensuring works are delivered safely, to quality standards, on schedule, and in accordance with contractual requirements. This is a site based role working on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to the delivery of a significant renewable energy project. Key Responsibilities Lead the safe, compliant and timely delivery of site construction activities in line with the EPC Contract, Project Execution Plan, APA governance and statutory requirements. Set and role model strong site HSE and quality standards, managing contractor performance, construction interfaces and readiness for commissioning and handover. Coordinate engineering, commercial, HSE and project controls inputs, providing clear, evidence based insights to support project governance, risk, schedule and cost reviews. Provide hands on construction and site management, maintaining oversight of technical execution and supporting commissioning and handover activities. Support contract administration and commercial matters within delegated authority, contributing to effective issue resolution and sound decision making. Build strong working relationships across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, coordination and continuity across project phases. Your background You bring hands on experience working within a hybrid power station environment, where solar and battery systems integrate with conventional power generation. You have a strong understanding of EPC delivery models, construction sequencing and the management of complex interfaces. You are confident interpreting contracts, specifications, schedules and quality documentation to support effective site delivery. You communicate clearly and credibly, with the ability to engage stakeholders and operate with strong governance discipline. You are a proactive problem solver with a sharp eye for detail, able to identify risks early and manage them through to resolution. You work effectively within matrixed teams, collaborating across engineering, commercial, HSE and operations functions.
