The HS2 project is a High Speed 2 (HS2) rail project in the United Kingdom, designed to link London to Birmingham, then to Manchester and Leeds in the North of England.

THE CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER (GEOTECHNICAL AND EARTHWORKS), CSS HAS THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• BSc/BEng with an emphasis in in geotechnical/earthworks engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience on Design and Build projects dealing with Geotechnical and Earthworks issues and resolving them, preferably on rail projects or other linear projects of similar nature.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the English language, both speaking and writing
• Chartered status preferred.

THE CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT ENGINEER (GEOTECHNICAL AND EARTHWORKS), CSS HAS THE FOLLOWING WIDER SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

• Interpersonal and team-building skills
• Supporting of managers
• Decision-making and providing clear direction
• Good communication skills
• Good coordination skills
