5 Star Paving Construction Group is currently looking for an experienced Civil Construction Surveyor / Grade Person to join our growing team in the Excavating & Grading division.
The Civil ConstructionSurveyor / Grade Person will be responsible to check the grade of Parking Lots, Sidewalks / Curbs, roadways using manual and laser methods. GPS Machine Control experience is an asset.

The qualified applicants should posses the following attributes:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar type of work
• Ability to read and understand drawings, perform job layouts & operate survey equipment.
• This position is a full-time / seasonal position with an average of 50-55 per week
• Communication with clients and co-worker’s industry practices and codes
• Must be able to fully understand Excavating & Grading
• Must have a valid ‘G’ drivers’ licence with a clean abstract
• Safety, First-aid training, WHMIS and other certifications
• Prepare As Builds and other documents
