JOB DESCRIPTION

SDT is a post 16 training provider in our 26th year working in Sutton. The majority of our cohort is made up of young people with SEND and/or Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). An increasing number of young people in the London Borough of Sutton who have an EHCP are becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training) due to attitudes and behaviours outlined in their support plans, due to safeguarding issues and/or Youth Justice Service (YJS) involvement. Our Choices provision is designed to give these young people the opportunity to gain a qualification while developing strategies to enable them to progress on to their chosen vocation within SDT, FE College or Employment.
