QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in construction, with a focus on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Strong skills in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, framing, insulation, drywall , or finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and safety standards.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require heavy lifting, standing, and bending.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• construction: 5 years (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class D Licence (preferred)

• Perform a wide range of skilled construction tasks, including framing, drywall installation, carpentry, flooring, and finishing work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately.
• Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring proper maintenance and care.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure all work meets Deco Concepts’ quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
