Water Operations is currently looking to fill a number of full-time regular Construction Worker vacancies in Deacons Corner, Portage la Prairie, Teulon and Morris. Candidates must indicate the location(s) they are applying for in their application form. The Branch is responsible for the overall management of infrastructure inventory that includes drains, dams, flood protection dikes, diversions, bridges, culverts and pumping stations.

Duties:
As part of a crew, the Construction Worker carries out maintenance and operation of water conveyance structures, bridges, dams, buildings and other water resources related works. The Construction Worker also assists in bridge repairs, installation of culvert and low level crossings, assists survey crews with line cutting or drilling ice, operation and maintenance of pumping facilities, brushing, seeding and flood fighting operations as required.
