Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and implement project management plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control and safety standards Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks Stay updated on industry trends, new construction technologies, and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum 12 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent understanding of project financials, including budgeting and cost control Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and familiarity with local building codes and permit processes Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to project sites as needed Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
