A clinical position as consultant of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine at the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Copenhagen University Hospital – Herlev and Gentofte Hospital - is open for appointment from as soon as possible.
The position is combined with a 5-year externally funded position as clinical professor in clinical physiology and nuclear medicine with special focus on quantitative methods in nuclear medicine at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
It is a requirement that the applicant is accepted for appointment of both the professorship and the consultancy.

The Department of Nuclear Medicine covers a broad range of different modalities – PET/CT-scanners, SPECT/CT-scanners, Planar gamma cameras, Ultrasound, DXA-scanners, and physiological equipment as Lung function boxes, Equipment for measuring the blood pressure on toes and fingers, Tilt table, and Infrared thermography. Furthermore, a cyclotron with complete radiochemistry unit, which will be supplemented with one more cyclotron within the next year. The staff consist of about 100 employees - medical doctors, technicians, engineers, chemists, physicists, pharmacists. More than 28,000 patients visit the department every year.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be board-certified specialist in Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine.
