We are seeking an Islamic Giving Fundraising Manager (External Collaborator) to strategically enhance our fundraising and partnership development, specifically focusing on individual giving within the Islamic giving framework and strengthening local partnerships to further our child-focused mission. To design, develop, and lead the Islamic Giving Fundraising (IGF) stream for donations from individuals in Indonesia through Infaq, Sadaqah and Zakat, including strategic planning, campaign development for Ramadhan 2026, donor acquisition and retention. The External Collaborator will help Save the Children embed best practices in Islamic giving, build systems, and ensure sustainability beyond the engagement period. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Development Develop a comprehensive IGF strategy for Indonesia for Save the Children Indonesia, covering Infaq, Sadaqah and Zakat, include with segments of potential individual for acquisition and conversion and its donor journey. Identify potential strategic relations with key stakeholders from Islamic community leaders, HNWI individuals, Islamic financial institutions or other 3rd party for potential partnership and collaboration to amplify reach in Save the Children Islamic Giving program Define goals, targets, budgets, timelines for Islamic giving streams (annual & seasonal). Align the plan with Save the Children’s country strategic plan, legal and Islamic giving regulations. Including alignment. Perform competitor / peer benchmarking / research of Islamic giving fundraising best practices. Support budgeting, forecasting, financial oversight of Islamic giving programs. Ensure all philanthropic activities align with Islamic philanthropic principles, such as Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah, and demonstrate a deep understanding of how to effectively engage Muslim donors in supporting Save the Children’s work for children. Collaborate with Program Development Team and Program Implementation team in designing program that align with IGF strategy, this includes to provide analysis and recommendations derived from IGF campaign results for future program development and strategic alignment with Save the Children's goals. Collaborate with the Strategic Communications team to develop Save the Children’s positioning within the Islamic giving market. This positioning must align with the overall Save the Children brand, while taking into consideration the specific needs of the Islamic audience and the competitive landscape of Islamic philanthropy. Ramadhan Campaign Design & Execution Lead, design and implementation of Ramadan 2026 campaign through Infaq and Sadaqah giving: messaging, digital & offline channels, timeline, budgeting, monitoring, include to develop and implement its donor’s journey Develop other campaigns / appeals through the year (e.g. special events, regular giving drives) under the Islamic giving umbrella. Work together with Growth Team for the development and execution of robust digital fundraising strategies, utilizing data-driven approaches and digital metrics to effectively acquire and engage donors in Ramadhan 2026 campaign. Coordinate with other Individual Giving team and Strategy Communication team for marketing and communications, digital, offline fundraising, donor care and donor development for campaign execution. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Define KPIs for Islamic giving streams; monitor progress vs targets. Conduct post-campaign evaluation, feedback, lessons learned for continuous improvement. Provide regular reports to line manager. Technical & Regulatory Oversight Ensure that all fundraising for Infaq, Sadaqah and Zakat are complied with national regulation and Islamic giving regulations. Maintain integrity, transparency, and accountability in funds collection and reporting. Other Consultant Duties Provide strategic advice to senior management on emerging trends, innovations in Islamic fundraising in Indonesia / region. Deliverables: Concept Note of Campaign based on Islamic Giving Fundraising (IGF) approach for Save the Children Indonesia: A detailed strategic plan for an IGF campaign (e.g., Ramadan or Eid festivity campaign) aimed at acquiring new donors and fostering donor loyalty for Save the Children’s initiatives. Fundraising Campaign Materials and SOP for Ramadan 2026 Campaign: Development of culturally sensitive and effective campaign materials through Infaq and Sadaqah approach and standard operating procedures for the 2026 Ramadan campaign. To produce : Monthly report of donor communication and engagement activities. Updated content calendar and campaign performance metrics. Weekly summary of performance and recommendation. Donor feedback and engagement (thank you, etc) report. Project template and SOP for future Ramadhan / Islamic festive Campaign Campaign analysis and future recommendation from Ramadhan 2026 performance: Analysis and recommendations derived from Ramadhan 2026 IGF campaign results to inform future program development and strategic alignment with Save the Children's goals. Reporting and dashboard for KPI monitoring: Establishment and maintenance of a clear reporting framework and dashboard for monitoring key performance indicators related to fundraising and partnerships. Key Skills and Experience: Fundraising Expertise: Proven experience in Islamic Giving Fundraising through Zakat, Infaq or Sadaqah and successful multi-channel campaigns, with a strong understanding of best practices of Islamic Giving in the non-profit sector. Islamic Knowledge: A strong understanding of Islamic principles of philanthropy, including Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah, and the cultural nuances of engaging effectively with the Muslim community for fundraising. Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse donors, stakeholders, and partners, always upholding Save the Children’s values. Marketing and Digital Proficiency: Ability to develop and implement impactful digital and direct marketing activities, manage social media campaigns, and create engaging content across various platforms to reach and inspire donors. Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple task, working effectively with varied team across department and ensure timely and effective execution of campaigns, adhering to Save the Children's operational standards. Analytical Skills: Experience in utilizing donor databases, performing data analysis, and preparing insightful reports on fundraising performance to inform strategy and demonstrate impact for children.
