SCIDN is committed to ensuring every child’s right to survival, protection, development, and participation through a rights-based approach. Its programs span education, health and nutrition, child protection, humanitarian response, youth and livelihoods, and climate resilience, all of which integrate Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles across the program cycle. As an organization with a strong reputation in Research, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, and Monitoring (REALM), Save the Children ensures that all interventions are evidence-driven, accountable to affected populations, and contribute to organizational learning and policy influence. Under the COAST Facility, Save the Children Indonesia partners with Rare Indonesia to implement the project titled “Oceans of Equity: Community-Led Coastal Conservation for Sustainable Fisheries and Food Systems.” The project aims to strengthen community-led protection and management of marine resources while enhancing inclusive and climate-resilient coastal livelihoods with GEDSI at its core.
