Employment Status: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Facility: 2017 S Jefferson St - Roanoke Requisition Number: R156291 Consultant-Based Clinical Program Manager (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: *THIS IS A CONSULTANT-BASED PROGRAM POSITION THAT DOES NOT INVOLVE DIRECT PATIENT CARE* Under direction of the Medical Director, this position oversees the Carilion Medical Center Women’s Perinatal Mental Health program, focusing on the mental health needs of pregnant and postpartum women. Collaborates with healthcare and community colleagues to ensure efficient, high-quality mental health support and follow-up. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Provide mental health services to perinatal patients within Carilion Clinic. Manage and communicate the patient's mental health care plan and transition plans effectively. Facilitate timely follow-up care and remove barriers to care transition. · Oversee the Women's Perinatal Mental Health Program, ensuring it meets performance benchmarks. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and patient experience indicators. · Work with Medical Director to establish program goals, community partnerships, and operating plans. · Maintain productive relationships with clients, physicians, managers, and community organizations. Facilitate networking among service providers to enhance direct services to perinatal women and disseminate information to stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner. · Ensure compliance with licensure requirements, certifications, and accrediting standards. Manage data, grants, and reporting for the program. Participate in state-level meetings and training related to perinatal mental health. Requires knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing social services, hospital information systems, staff development strategies, change management concepts, and performance improvement processes. Also requires knowledge of legal and regulatory issues as they relate to state guidelines for child/adult abuse and reporting requirements. Skills include management of processes, effective communication, promoting exceptional patient and employee satisfaction and the desire to be part of an interdisciplinary management team. Accountable for maintaining confidentiality of patient and organizational information. *THIS POSITION REQUIRES A MASTER'S DEGREE IN BEHAVIORAL SERVICES FROM AN ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY. *THIS POSITION REQUIRES: LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER (LCSW) OR LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (LPC) What We Require: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree may be required depending on program focus. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical services, case management, or program coordination required. Licensure/Certification: Relevant licensure required (e.g., LCSW, LPC) depending on program focus. Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and manage projects. Proficiency in care coordination, program evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
