We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Cardiac Surgeon to join a Government Healthcare Facility. In this role, the Consultant Cardiac Surgeon will provide expert surgical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions within the government healthcare system. The position demands clinical excellence, strong leadership, and a collaborative approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, and other cardiovascular surgeries. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac diseases. Coordinate care with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care. Ensure compliance with government healthcare policies, protocols, and quality standards. Participate in training, mentoring, and continuous professional development activities. Qualifications & Requirements: Medical degree with board certification in cardiac surgery. Minimum of 5 years experience as a practicing cardiac surgeon, preferably within government or public healthcare settings. Proficiency in advanced cardiac surgical techniques and patient management. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work within government healthcare regulations and standards. Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional growth and medical education. Experience in mentoring junior medical staff is preferred.
