🎯 Role OverviewWe are seeking a board-certified Consultant Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in Electrophysiology to lead advanced cardiac rhythm management services at a premier healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence in diagnosing and treating complex arrhythmias, and will contribute to the development of a high-performing electrophysiology program. 🧠 Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage arrhythmias, syncope, and conduction system disordersPerform advanced electrophysiology procedures including: • Electrophysiology studies (EPS) • Catheter ablations (AFib, VT, SVT) • Device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs) Lead EP lab development, technology upgrades, and quality assurance initiativesProvide consultative services to inpatient and outpatient unitsMentor junior physicians and contribute to CME, research, and academic activities📋 Qualifications & ExperienceMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in CardiologySubspecialty fellowship in Cardiac ElectrophysiologyBoard-certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent)Minimum 5 years post-specialization, including consultant-level practice in electrophysiologyEligible for DOH Consultant licensure (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi)Experience with advanced mapping systems (e.g., CARTO, EnSite) preferredStrong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills💼 Compensation & BenefitsTax-free salary: AED 80,000–90,000/month (commensurate with experience)Annual performance bonusHousing allowance or furnished accommodationFamily medical insuranceCME allowance and paid study leaveRelocation support and visa sponsorship
Responsibilities
The Consultant Cardiologist will diagnose and manage arrhythmias and perform advanced electrophysiology procedures. They will also lead the development of the electrophysiology lab and mentor junior physicians.
