Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its expanding team. The role involves providing specialized psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary and culturally diverse environment. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients aged 0–18Provide pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventionsCollaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, educators, and social workers for holistic careSupervise junior psychiatrists and allied healthcare professionalsEngage in family education, support, and psychoeducation programsContribute to mental health awareness, early intervention programs, and school outreach initiativesMaintain full compliance with clinical documentation and regulatory requirements (e.g., DHA standards)Qualifications & RequirementsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed specialty training in PsychiatrySubspecialty qualification in Child & Adolescent PsychiatryBoard certification (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent)Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience (at least 3–5 in a Consultant role)Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensureProficiency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)Desirable AttributesEmpathetic, culturally sensitive approach to pediatric mental healthStrong communicator with families and multidisciplinary teamsInterest in research, education, or program developmentFamiliarity with digital mental health solutions is a plus
