Key Responsibilities Perform thorough assessments of patients experiencing chronic pain and related functional impairments. Develop individualized management plans integrating pharmacological treatments, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation therapies. Lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Educate patients and families on pain mechanisms, treatment options, and self-management strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to optimize outcomes. Maintain meticulous medical records in accordance with healthcare standards and regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Medical degree with specialization in Pain Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or relevant field. Board certification or equivalent qualification in Chronic Pain Management and Rehabilitation. Valid medical license to practice in the respective region. Demonstrated experience managing chronic pain patients with multidisciplinary rehabilitation approaches. Proficiency in interventional pain procedures is preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
