Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic evaluations and provide treatment plans for patients with colorectal diseases. Conduct a wide range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries for conditions such as colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Offer non-surgical management options for various colorectal conditions. Collaborate with oncologists, gastroenterologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in colon and rectal surgery. Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in General Surgery and additional training in Colon and Rectal Surgery. Board certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery. Current medical license to practice. Extensive experience in performing a range of colorectal surgical procedures. Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy, pathology, and surgical techniques. Excellent communication skills and ability to provide patient-centered care. Proven track record of collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
