Role Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Critical Care Medicine with expertise in liver and/or kidney transplantation. The role involves leading ICU care for transplant patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety. Key Responsibilities Lead the ICU team in managing critically ill transplant patients, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative care Collaborate with transplant surgeons, nephrologists, hepatologists, and anesthetists to optimize patient outcomes Perform advanced procedures such as invasive monitoring, mechanical ventilation, renal replacement therapy, and hemodynamic support Ensure compliance with international best practices and DHA regulations Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and training programs for junior staff Provide on-call support and consultations across critical care areas including ER and transplant units Qualifications & Requirements Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Critical Care or Internal Medicine Fellowship or subspecialty training in Transplant ICU / Critical Care Medicine Board-certified (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Canadian FRCP, or equivalent) Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in transplant-related ICU care Valid license or eligibility for DHA Consultant classification Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus Preferred Attributes Proven experience in managing liver and kidney transplant patients Familiarity with advanced ICU technologies and EMR systems Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous learning Interest in academic teaching or transplant-related research Salary: 80000 - 90000 AED Per month
