🧠 Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine with proven Head of Department (HOD) leadership experience to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The role combines advanced clinical expertise in emergency medicine with strategic leadership, departmental management, and a commitment to delivering world‑class patient care. 🔍 Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Emergency Medicine Department, ensuring high standards of clinical care and operational efficiency.Provide expert diagnosis and management of acute medical and surgical emergencies across all age groups.Supervise and perform advanced emergency procedures including airway management, trauma resuscitation, cardiac emergencies, and critical care stabilization.Develop and implement departmental policies, protocols, and evidence‑based practices.Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management of medical and nursing teams.Mentor, train, and support junior doctors, residents, and allied health professionals.Collaborate with hospital leadership and multidisciplinary teams to optimize emergency care pathways.Lead departmental audits, CME activities, and quality improvement initiatives.Represent the department in hospital committees and external professional forums.🎓 Qualifications & RequirementsMedical degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine.Board certification or equivalent in Emergency Medicine.Minimum 10–15 years post‑specialization experience, including proven HOD or senior leadership role.Eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Demonstrated expertise in trauma, resuscitation, and critical emergency procedures.Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages an advantage.
