QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in fields such as Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Law, or Public Administration.
  • At least five years of project management experience, ideally including international conference organization.
  • Experience drafting formal documents and promotional content.
  • Familiarity with scientific or policy-driven abstract and paper submission processes.
  • Proven ability in building multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent English language skills. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is an asset.
Responsibilities

The Consultant will provide expert input in the organization and delivery of the Emergency Preparedness and Response (EPR) Conference to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 1 to 4 December 2025. He/she will be involved in conference planning, coordination, and implementation. Key duties include cooperating and organizing preparatory meetings, aiding in developing the scientific program, reviewing abstracts, and promoting the conference. The Consultant will ensure the conference meets the needs of participants and stakeholders and aligns with the strategic goals of the NS-IEC.
