The ClearViewIP team comprises experienced IP professionals, with decades of experience in managing, protecting and commercialising innovation and ensuring best practise IP approaches are deployed to help clients win in the market. Job Description Job Purpose Consultants in the ClearViewIP team at S&W operate as part of an experienced team of skilled IP, business and technical professionals providing research services to clients in a wide range of industries. This role will support the delivery of advanced IP research solutions – including Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses, licensing & commercialization support, technology & patent landscapes, competitive intelligence and market research – while ensuring operational excellence and innovation Consultants provide support to the IP, R&D, market research & strategy operations, and the wider team, undertaking and preparing reports and studies as per the client requirements. On the job training and mentoring is provided by team members including the management team and you will contribute to a range of projects for different clients and technology/market sectors. The role will be based in our Gurugram, India office. Key Responsibilities Client Service/Client Work Always provide excellent client service and ensure that the customer experience is a priority Strive to achieve the Exceptional Advisor competencies and status. Manage client relationships. Ensure efficient, high quality pro-active and timely execution of advice and services for your clients. Ensure your clients’ requirements are serviced by you and members of the team of appropriate seniority, experience and technical ability and with the capacity to do the work to the highest standard. Globally collaborative and actively working with a partnership mindset with the global S&W and ClearViewIP teams. Living & actively promoting a “one team” mindset ensuring global integration & partnering across all teams & internal stakeholders. Willingness to occasionally travel globally and support global client needs (on the client time zone) as required. Growing the business • Promote and build ClearViewIP reputation internally and externally. • Promote cross-selling within ClearViewIP and the wider S&W group. • Build and cultivate relationships with clients and potential clients of the group. • AI first mindset. You and your team will need to deploy AI and RPA extensively Qualifications Skills, Experience & Qualifications We are looking for highly motivated, high achieving individuals with the following attributes: •A physical science / life science / computer science or engineering degree (2:1 or higher); postgraduate qualifications, such as PhDs and Masters courses are particularly valued. •Capable of understanding complex technologies (computer science, electronics, biochemistry or software engineering background would be particularly useful). •Thorough and methodical approach to research, data analysis and report writing •Keen interest in technology and its commercial applications •Independent, motivated and self-driven while enjoying teamwork and cooperation •Good communication and presentation skills including fluency in written and spoken English •Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ideally some previous experience with software programming and/or using Microsoft Power BI This position is a Mid-level role and would suit candidates with >4 years’ experience working in the IP, R&D and market research services sectors.
