Your tasks
Become part of the energy future – and notice it on your next electricity bill:
- A quantifiable impact: En-Concept manages the energy consumption of over 80 industrial clients and large medium-sized companies. What you design here doesn't end up in a case study, but in real kilowatt hours and real euros.
- Expertise instead of buzzwords: From electricity and gas procurement to energy efficiency consulting and transformation – you are not a bystander, but right in the middle of it, at the pulse of the markets.
- Three challenges, one portfolio: Flexibility, decarbonization, and security of supply are separate issues for most companies. Our portfolio brings them together – with tools that enable customers to seize market opportunities, transform their supply chains, and digitize processes.
- We are currently rebuilding ourselves: En-Concept is actively driving its own transformation into a data- and AI-powered company – modern hardware, customized software, AI skills integrated into daily work instead of just in theory. You're not working alongside this transformation, you're part of it.
As an equal sparring partner, you help existing customers use the new En-Concept services effectively – and thus measurably improve. You think in terms of results that pay off: for the customer on the invoice, for us in the order book.
In volatile energy markets, you engage proactively with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their situation and objectives – and bringing relevant components from the En-Concept portfolio into play. No talk about "holistic solutions," but rather building blocks that make a real difference – and partnerships that grow as a result.
What you move
- Understanding the customer's situation: You analyze the customer's goals, risks, processes and decision-making paths – in depth and breadth.
- Building the best deal: You negotiate and configure so that price, efficiency and flexibility are right for the customer – not just one of them.
- Tailor your portfolio perfectly: You bring the right building blocks into the conversation at the right time; e.g., digital tools, spot forecasts, transformation paths, workshops, reimbursement and assistance options.
- Enabling decisions: You structure options, benefits and costs so that customers can prioritize clearly – instead of having to wade through 40 pages of offers.
- Orchestrating implementation: You coordinate internal stakeholders and keep the thread running smoothly between consulting, proposal and realization – independently, but never bypassing the team.
- Turning existing business into recurring business: You develop consulting approaches in such a way that consulting, suitable portfolio components and implementation merge into a program that can be repeated – measurable in revenue and customer benefit.
- Expand partnerships: You establish review routines and make continuous optimization the standard, not the exception.
Your profile
- Honest broker by conviction: That's the core of the job, not a nice trait on the side. You work exclusively in the client's interest – no commissions, no supplier ties, no hidden agenda. If the honest answer is uncomfortable, you give it anyway.
- Qualifications: You have completed a degree in a business-related field and possess strong technical aptitude. Or conversely: a degree in engineering or natural sciences and a good business acumen. Our team is interdisciplinary – bright scientists are just as welcome here.
- Professional experience and consulting skills: Initial experience in B2B consulting or strategic customer development is a plus, but not a must.
- Business instinct: You want customers to get the best deal—in terms of price, efficiency, flexibility, and everything else that's negotiable. And you want us to get a good deal in the end, too. Both at the same time, without compromising the other.
- Independent, but not lone-wolf: You like to make your own decisions and take responsibility – but you always work together with the team and within the framework of our values. Freedom, yes; going it alone, no.
- Relationship management: For you, business acumen, persuasiveness, and reliability are not just empty phrases on a reference letter, but are evident in your customer interactions. You are interested in people and their motivations.
- Abstraction and confidence with numbers: You quickly connect complex topics and think in concepts – and you know that when it comes to data, budgets and contracts, it's the details that matter, not the summary.
- Honestly, the joy of meticulous work is part of the job: alongside the big picture, this is also crucial: digging into cumbersome regulations, or scrutinizing an application for electricity price compensation until every field is correct and every deadline is met. If you find this more enjoyable than daunting, then you're in the right place – if not, this is where things start to get dishonest.
- Digitally and AI-savvy, not just curious about AI: You know what an MCP is, have already worked with AI skills or want to learn them immediately – and are as comfortable in cloud environments like Slack or Teams as you are in your email inbox. We are transforming our business to be data-driven and AI-supported; you'll be part of it, not just a spectator.
- Close to the customer: There are weeks without any travel and weeks when you're on the road – on average, expect around 50 travel days per year, mostly within Germany. Travel is comfortable: first-class rail travel, and where that's not enough, a modern rental car.
- Confident demeanor: You can win over even a room full of skeptical purchasing managers – not through your demeanor alone, but because your numbers deliver on the promise of your presentation.
