Description
We are seeking a Consultant to join our Global Food and Nutrition practice. This practice delivers strategic insights and advisory support across the food, beverage, and nutrition value chain. From health ingredients, plant-based proteins, and sweeteners to emerging trends such as longevity and precision fermentation, we help clients make confident, data-backed decisions in a fast-changing market, enabling them to navigate disruption, unlock growth, and drive innovation. Key aspects of this role include: · Engaging with client teams and Kline leaders to provide commercial and provocative perspectives on the issues, challenges and opportunities facing our clients in the industry. · Co-creating insights beyond publicly available information, interacting with industry members and external networks to build proprietary data sets and evidence for differentiated points of view. · Providing strong insights using various data analytic/ modelling techniques to uncover meaningful insights for our client. · Build solid analysis and insights for client engagements, utilizing secondary and primary research methodologies research. · Leading/contributing to delivery of strategic and complex projects, often working virtually across teams in different geographies. · Developing a credible internal brand to become recognized within Kline as a subject matter expert for the business. · Participate in client meetings, round tables and other external events/conferences to strengthen Kline’s presence and reputation in the market. · Collaborates with colleagues to proactively alert stakeholders regarding changes among key clients and competitors and assesses the impact of those changes on internal strategies and plans. · Acts as a role model within Kline, championing the use of Kline know-how, methodologies and positively influencing change by leading by example; championing knowledge-sharing behaviors; connecting people; encouraging enterprise-wide sharing; and appropriately leveraging and reusing existing collateral. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree Minimum 3+ years of experience in strategy, business analysis, industry research, management consulting or business performance, advising organizations in the food and nutrition sectors Strong experience of conducting comprehensive secondary (public and paid databases) and primary research on various industries, macro developments and regions Data Modelling and financial modelling proficiency required. Comfortable working with huge datasets and proficient with financial analysis and modelling · Possess deep understanding of the applicable domain, strong analytical skills and the ability to develop a point of view. Capable of putting individual projects/initiatives into a “big picture” context and credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-centric environment. Very well-structured oral and written communications skills; able to explain difficult concepts in a clear, concise and graphic-rich style, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools. Ability to take ownership for delivering customized projects with certain degree of autonomy Knowledge of data analytics / visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. and statistical (including forecasting) techniques such as PCA, regression, cluster analysis, etc. would be a plus
