Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with gastrointestinal complaints. Conduct advanced diagnostic procedures, including endoscopies and imaging studies. Diagnose and manage a variety of gastrointestinal disorders such as IBD, GERD, and liver disease. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal health and treatment options. Engage in continuous education and professional development within the gastroenterology field. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research as appropriate. Medical degree and board certification in Gastroenterology. Active medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Significant experience in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal illnesses. Proficient in performing endoscopic procedures and interpreting diagnostic tests. Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and teams. A commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based healthcare environment. Experience in medical research or clinical trials is a plus. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of gastroenterology. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
