These positions are based in two stunning locations in the North and the South Islands. Both locations are well known for their outdoor recreational opportunities including tramping cycling mountain biking as well as river and water sports - boating and kayaking. The locations are also close to a coast line that offers lots of sun good surf boating fishing and deep see diving.
You will be joining a team of highly skilled professionals motivated to make a difference in people’s lives.
As the successful applicant you will be part of a team of five Specialist Physicians for Older people
The Hospital developing and expanding their service to meet the needs of the growing older populations
The service is well supported by community rehabilitation team assessment service and gerontology Nurse program
Previous Acute Stroke experience is advantageous
The ideal candidates must have completed their specialist training in General Medicine and post graduate qualification in Geriatric Medicine and must be eligible for vocational registration with the NZ Medical Council
Remuneration is negotiable upon experience. In addition you will be provided with continued medical education assistance and generous relocation cost
