👁️‍🗨️ Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Glaucoma Surgeon to join a leading ophthalmology team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong surgical and clinical expertise in managing glaucoma patients, with a commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration. 🔍 Key Responsibilities Perform advanced glaucoma surgeries including trabeculectomy, tube shunt procedures, MIGS, and laser therapies. Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of glaucoma conditions, including primary open-angle, angle-closure, and secondary glaucomas. Provide outpatient and inpatient care, including long-term follow-up and visual rehabilitation. Collaborate with retina, cornea, and general ophthalmology teams for integrated patient care. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and CME activities. Contribute to teaching and mentoring junior staff and residents. 🎓 Qualifications & Experience Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology UK CCT or American Board Certification in Ophthalmology Fellowship training in Glaucoma (preferred) Minimum 3–5 years post-specialization experience in glaucoma surgery Arabic-speaking preferred, but open to strong profiles regardless of gender or language DHA eligibility or licensure preferred 🌟 Desirable Attributes Proven surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction Experience in MIGS and advanced imaging modalities (OCT, visual fields) Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to continuous professional development Salary: 80000 - 90000 AED Per month
