We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, plus on call
We are looking for motivated individuals to join this team to support the on-going development of clinical and laboratory services in H&T and contribute to our active clinical trials portfolio. The successful applicants will be based at QEUH to provide non-malignant haematology services to QEUH. This post will meet outpatient, day case, consultative and laboratory commitments.
On-call responsibility will be at QEUH and will be a maximum frequency of 1 in 7 for this post.
The job is offered as a full-time post on a 10 PA basis, but applications will be considered from those wishing to work less than full-time.
All newly appointed consultants will initially be offered a minimum of one Core Supporting Professional Activity (SPA) which includes CPD, audit, clinical governance, appraisal, revalidation, and job planning and management meetings. One additional non DCC can be negotiated and agreed between the successful candidate and management, depending on the time required to support professional activities and the needs of the service.
