You will be coordinating our health and safety program across the world, working from Kuala Lumpa, with multi-disciplinary teams. You will use your experience of navigating workplace health and safety cultures and working to ISO 45001 to ensure adoption and compliance with global policies in local operational teams. You will use your program and project management experience to ensure timely and accurate project updates and milestone completions. You will use your health and safety experience and qualifications (EDOSH / NIOSH / DOSH / NEBOSH IGC) to help inform projects on safety topics such as Display Screen Equipment and Computer Ergonomics, Office Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety. This role is largely administrative and advisory in nature so you must be a motivated, self-starter who is confident working in teams based in different locations. As we start our new global program, local teams will have varying experience and knowledge of Employee Health and Safety so you must be a confident communicator, mentor and coach. Job Description Responsible for driving the Global EHS Program delivered by the Global Crisis, Security, and Safety Management Team. Job Responsibilities Collect and organize EHS data Drive program innovation and identify best practices to improve compliance and Associate safety Drive process improvements by communicating best practices, identifying gaps, proposing practical solutions to operational safety challenges, and technical solutions to local compliance barriers Assist local management teams to adopt Global EHS Program items including risk assessments and training development Generate training modules on global Learning Management System, monitor deployment and ongoing compliance Provide timely communications to all levels of the organisation to promote understanding of the Global EHS Strategy and drive compliance with local regulations Support the investigation and root cause analysis for EHS incidences driving continuous improvement efforts within EHS Qualifications Essential Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field e.g. Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent qualifications DOSH certified NIOSH member Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent computer skills for use of digital tools for project management, document control and data visualization (MS Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint) Strong technical aptitude in understanding safety data and interpreting insights for non-technical managers Competent business and technical writing skills Effective communicator and send clear, concise, and consistent written and verbal messages Experience in delivering training or coaching on Employee Health and Safety topics Desirable 2 years technical / operational experience in Employee Health and Safety Practical experience of working within ISO 45001 framework Demonstrable program management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams Experience with risk and project management applications such Riskonnect and Jira Practical experience of designing, writing, and developing online learning and integration with Learning Management System Additional Information NIQ is the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth.
