The role is based in the Department of Anaesthetics, Critical Care and Pain Medicine. This service sits within the Surgical Business Unit (SBU). The SBU also incorporates all surgical specalties, Womens Health and Paediatrics. There are separate Clinical Leads for Anaesthetics and for Critical Care, working alongside Service Line Managers, and led by a Clinical Head of Service and a business unit Operations Director.
