The post provides clinical infection services for both NBT and UHBW, and the populations in Bristol and Weston that they serve. In addition, the post holder would be expected to take up an additional lead role within the department. Initially, this will be the role of training lead for infection, however, all roles are on a rotational basis. The post holder would also have opportunities to develop a new role and be the link for providing educational activities related to infection, and the correct use of laboratory services across the Bristol Hospitals.
In addition, there would be opportunities to develop the existing model of service delivery and cross-site working
