Position Overview A leading tertiary-care hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist to join its Neurosciences and Radiology division. The ideal candidate will provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic neuro‑interventional procedures for adult and pediatric patients, while contributing to service development, multidisciplinary collaboration, and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Procedural Expertise Perform a full spectrum of neuro‑interventional procedures, including: Mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke Aneurysm coiling and flow‑diversion AVM/AVF embolization Tumor embolization Carotid and intracranial stenting Spinal vascular interventions Interpret advanced neuroimaging studies including CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA. Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for complex neurovascular conditions. Participate in 24/7 stroke and neuro‑interventional on‑call coverage. Collaborate closely with neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, and emergency medicine teams. Leadership & Program Development Contribute to the strategic growth of the neuro‑interventional service. Develop and update clinical pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives. Participate in multidisciplinary stroke and neurovascular boards. Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technologists. Patient & Family Engagement Communicate diagnoses, procedural risks, and treatment plans clearly and compassionately. Support patients and families through decision‑making and post‑procedure care. Promote a patient‑centered, culturally sensitive environment. Academic & Research Contributions Participate in clinical research, case studies, and institutional review activities. Teach medical students, radiology residents, and fellows. Contribute to CME programs and represent the department at national and international conferences. Qualifications & Requirements Medical Degree (MD/MBBS) from a recognized institution. Board Certification in Radiology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, Arab Board, or equivalent). Fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology / Endovascular Neurosurgery from a recognized center. Minimum 8–10 years of post‑specialization experience, including consultant‑level practice. Eligibility for Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH/HAAD) Consultant licensure. Proven expertise in advanced neuro‑interventional procedures and stroke intervention. Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage. Salary: 80000 - 90000 AED Per month
