Key Responsibilities CSOD / LMS Functional Responsibilities • Configure and manage Cornerstone Learning (LMS) modules • Create and maintain: • Learning items (Online, ILT, VILT, Curricula, Programs) • Assignments, certifications, and completion rules • Manage users, groups, organizational units (OU) • Handle learning assignments, exemptions, and retraining logic • Configure emails, notifications, and automated workflows Administration & Support • Provide L2/L3 functional support for CSOD issues • Troubleshoot learning assignment, completion, and transcript issues • Manage data loads (user data, learning data) and validate outputs • Coordinate with CSOD support for product issues and upgrades Reporting & Analytics • Create and maintain standard and custom CSOD reports • Use Reporting 2.0 / Insights to track: • Completion • Compliance • Training effectiveness • Support audit and compliance reporting needs Stakeholder & Project Management • Gather requirements from HR, L&D, Compliance, and Business teams • Translate business needs into CSOD functional solutions • Support CSOD implementations, enhancements, and releases • Assist in UAT, documentation, and end-user training ⸻ Required Skills & Experience Must-Have • 2–6 years of hands-on experience with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) • Strong knowledge of: • CSOD Learning module • Assignments, Curricula, Certifications • User & OU management • Experience with CSOD data loads and reporting • Good understanding of L&D processes Good to Have • Experience with: • Performance, Recruiting, or Content Anytime modules • CSOD Integrations (Workday, SAP, Oracle, etc.) • CSOD Certification (preferred) • Exposure to Agile / project-based implementations Soft Skills • Strong communication & stakeholder management • Problem-solving and analytical thinking • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Documentation and training skills
Responsibilities
The consultant will configure and manage Cornerstone Learning modules, create and maintain learning items, and manage users and groups. They will also provide functional support for CSOD issues and create reports to track training effectiveness.
