JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking experienced Locum Consultant Doctors to work within a leading NHS Trust across a variety of specialties. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supporting junior doctors, and contributing to clinical governance and service improvement.
This is an immediate start position via a reputable agency, with flexible rota patterns and the opportunity for long-term extensions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• GMC Registration with a valid license to practise
• Recognised CCT or CESR in relevant specialty (or equivalent overseas qualification with UK recognition)
• Minimum 6 years post-graduate experience (preferably at Consultant level)
• Right to work in the UK (UK/EU passport or valid visa)
• Valid DBS check (Enhanced)
• Up-to-date mandatory training (Basic Life Support, Safeguarding, etc.)
• References covering the last 2 years of employment
• Experience working in the NHS (preferred)

• Provide Consultant-level care to inpatients and/or outpatients
• Take part in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Supervise and support junior medical staff
• Ensure timely documentation and discharge planning
• Participate in audits and contribute to service development
• Support safe and effective handover of care between shifts
