Shape the future application landscape of an internationally positioned industrial company.

Are you comfortable navigating between business processes, IT architecture, and SAP? Can you structure complex requirements, develop viable solutions, and bring diverse stakeholders together?

In this responsible position, you will shape the further development of a business-critical application landscape. A particular focus will be on the transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, as well as on the optimal integration of business processes, SAP systems, and other enterprise applications.

Your tasks:

Connecting business processes and applications

• Analysis and further development of business processes in the areas of production, engineering and purchasing
• Translating technical requirements into sustainable IT and application solutions
• Close coordination with process managers, key users, IT service owners and other specialist departments.
• Creation of functional and technical solution concepts, requirement specifications and architectural models
• Design of interfaces between SAP ERP, PLM systems and other enterprise applications

Develop target architectures

• Analysis of the existing system and application landscape
• Development of target and transition architectures for future IT solutions
• Definition of suitable integration concepts and interface architectures
• Use of modern integration methods such as REST, OData, APIs, IDocs or messaging technologies
• Consideration of requirements for performance, security, scalability and compliance

Supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation

• Planning and control of the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA
• Development of the future system landscape and migration strategy
• Coordination of data migration, custom code evaluation, and test management
• Preparation and support of cutover and go-live activities
• Collaboration with specialist departments, SAP key users, infrastructure, security and project teams
• Ensuring structured change and stakeholder management

Ensuring standards and quality

• Development and establishment of architectural standards and decision criteria
• Conducting architectural and quality reviews
• Assessment of technical risks and dependencies
• Preparation of decision-making documents for management and project committees
• Regular reporting on project status, risks and solution progress
• Professional support and development of business analysts and junior architects

Driving innovation

• Evaluation of new technologies and solutions for the existing application landscape
• Examination of potential application areas for cloud technologies, edge solutions and artificial intelligence
• Promoting modern working methods and best practices
• Further development of methods from SAP Activate, DevOps and agile project models

Your profile:

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the architecture of complex SAP ERP and application landscapes
• Solid knowledge of SAP ECC and ideally SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in developing solution, integration, or enterprise architectures
• A good understanding of business processes in manufacturing or technology-oriented companies.
• Experience with integration platforms, interfaces and different communication protocols
• Knowledge of data migration, for example with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services or comparable ETL tools
• Basic knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform is an advantage.
• Experience in project management and in working with methods such as SAP Activate, Scrum or PRINCE2
• Certifications in SAP S/4HANA, TOGAF or ArchiMate are welcome, but not required.
• Dich erwartet: Analyse & Optimierung: Durchführung von Netzwerk- und Standortanalysen sowie Analyse und Verbesserung von Logistik- und Materialflussprozessen.
• Ausschreibungen: Unterstützung bei Ausschreibungen von Logistikdienstleistern (RFI/RFQ/RFP).
• Projektunterstützung: Mitwirkung an anspruchsvollen Projekten in der Logistik- und Supply-Chain-Beratung sowie Unterstützung in Transformations-, Realisierungs- und Implementierungsphasen.

• Was Du mitbringst: Qualifikation: Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Supply Chain / Logistik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, BWL oder vergleichbar.
• Erfahrung: Erste Berufserfahrung oder relevante Praktika im Logistikumfeld von Vorteil.
• Fachwissen: Grundkenntnisse in Logistikprozessen und Supply-Chain-Strukturen.
• Tools: Sicherer Umgang mit MS Excel und PowerPoint.
• Arbeitsweise & Soft Skills: Analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Teamgeist, Kommunikationsstärke sowie professionelles Auftreten gegenüber Kunden.
• Sprachen: Sehr gute Deutsch- und/oder Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (mindestens Niveau C1).
