Position Title: Consultant, Maternal–Fetal Medicine (MFM) Location: Qassim, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Department: Obstetrics & Gynecology / Maternal–Fetal Medicine Reporting To: Head of Obstetrics & Gynecology Role Summary Provides advanced maternal–fetal medicine services, including high‑risk pregnancy management, fetal imaging, prenatal diagnostics, and multidisciplinary care coordination. Ensures evidence‑based, patient‑centered care aligned with international MFM standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the management of high‑risk pregnancies, including maternal medical complications, fetal anomalies, multiple gestations, and preterm birth risk. Perform and interpret advanced fetal imaging: detailed anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, and growth assessments. Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and fetal sampling when required. Provide expert counselling to families regarding fetal conditions, genetic risks, and management pathways. Collaborate with neonatology, genetics, radiology, anesthesia, and other specialties to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes. Participate in fetal therapy planning and coordinate referrals for intrauterine interventions. Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and follow‑up of all MFM cases. Contribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient‑safety initiatives. Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and sonographers in maternal–fetal medicine. Participate in on‑call duties as per departmental requirements. Engage in research, audits, and continuous professional development to maintain international standards of practice. Qualifications & Experience Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent). Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Subspecialty certification or fellowship in Maternal–Fetal Medicine / Fetal Medicine from a recognized international institution. Minimum 3–5 years post‑fellowship experience in MFM. Demonstrated expertise in advanced fetal imaging and high‑risk pregnancy management. Experience in multidisciplinary care and tertiary‑level obstetric services. Salary: 65000 - 70000 SAR Per annum

The consultant will lead the management of high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced fetal diagnostic procedures. They are also responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring clinical staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
