Description
Under the overall supervision of the head of the Mobility, Pathways and Inclusion MPI) and the direct supervision of the Programme Coordinator (MHPSS) of IOM Iraq. The incumbent, based in Erbil, will be responsible to support the implementation of the MHPSS Programme in Dohuk, and Ninewa (west) governorates and support IOM’s partnership with academia in Iraq considering IOM’s recent engagememnt with academia including the University of Dohuk. Given the limited resources in the field of mental health countrywide in general, s/he will focus on building technical capacity of staff, support the clinical supervision and the close supervision to all steps of projects implementation and MHPSS case management. All operational, administrative, and programmatic decisions, including approvals, remain under the authority of the MHPSS Programme Coordinator or Head of MPI. The consultant provides technical guidance and support only. This opportunity is open to international consultants only. The position is based in Erbil, Iraq.
