Description
The main objective of this project is to improve stability and peaceful coexistence between local communities and migrant communities in the target provinces of northern Chad. This project will adopt a four-pronged approach to community stabilization in the BEET regions, including improved access to legal documentation and basic social services—such as community infrastructure— improved access for host communities and migrants/returnees to employment and sustainable livelihoods, particularly for youth and women, as well as strengthening national capacity to collect and analyze migration data to combat human trafficking and migrant smuggling and address the root causes of irregular migration.
Responsibilities
The consultant will provide technical and operational support for Immigration and Border Governance activities, specifically focusing on MIDAS and legal identity. They are responsible for conducting training on various IBG thematics to improve stability and coexistence in northern Chad.
