CRITICAL EXPERIENCES:

  • Experience deploying and supporting infrastructure/applications on industry-recognized Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in a medium-sized enterprise environment with over 5,000 users across multiple geographies.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in IT security-related roles.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tertiary qualification in an IT or related discipline.
  • IT security certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP).
  • Cloud experience and certifications, such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate)
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate)
  • AWS Certified Developer (Associate)
  • Relevant industry qualifications or substantial IT security experience.

CORE SKILLS & CAPABILITIES:

  • Strong technical skills across Infrastructure and Security technologies.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Firewalls (Checkpoint, F5, and cloud-native AWS and Azure).
  • Akamai WAF policies management.
  • Networking, communications protocols, address translations, and network load balancers at the enterprise level.
  • Cloud-native firewall products and principles (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
  • AlgoSec or similar firewall policy tools.
  • Ability to automate processes to enhance delivery and maintain improvements.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level problems, change, and incident management.
  • Familiarity with key IT security concepts.
Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly report the status and posture of security systems to Platform and Senior Managers.
  • Provide support for both business-as-usual (BAU) and project activities for security technologies within the Cyber Protection Portfolio.
  • Perform technology management and support functions for IT security systems.
  • Diagnose problems, leverage technical expertise to generate solutions, and support remediation, repair, and recovery activities.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of support documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in the rotating on-call roster for after-hours support.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Flexibility: The post holder may be required to work at any of the Mitra sites in line with service & operational needs. The post holder may be required to undertake such other duties temporarily, or on a continuing basis as may be required commensurate with this role. This may include periods of time working on client premises and / or internationally.
