Description

We are looking for an experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist who is passionate about caring for women and treating their medical needs. As an Obstetrician and Gynecologist , you will test, treat, diagnose, and monitor disorders and illnesses related to women’s health and their reproductive systems. You will perform exams and procedures, counsel patients, and treat patients through their entire pregnancy terms and beyond. Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterview new patients to assess their symptoms, needs, or problems; record and utilise their medical history for diagnosisConduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their conditionMonitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal advising up to delivery and postnatal careOrder and analyse necessary tests, screenings, biopsies, scans, etc. to effectively diagnose a problemDirect, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses, physician assistants, med techs etc. on proper procedures and protocolContinue personal education on current medical practices and innovations by reading medical journals, attending conferences, etcRequirements and QualificationsBachelors degree in medicine and Specialisation Degree in obstetrics and gynecologyValid licence to practise in state3+ years practising medicine in a hospital or private practiceProficient at patient charting and knowledgeable in relevant charting computer programsAble to effectively monitor and manage other medical staff and assistantsCompassionate and personable with an exemplary bedside mannerSound judgement and expert decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

The Consultant Obstetrician Gynecologist will assess and treat women's health issues, monitor patients during pregnancy and childbirth, and provide postnatal care. They will also supervise medical staff and continue their education on current medical practices.
