As a Consultant Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing expert cancer care, leading diagnosis and treatment plans, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of oncology patients, including history taking and physical examination. Order, interpret, and correlate diagnostic tests (laboratory, radiological, histopathological) essential for cancer diagnosis and staging. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans involving chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. Monitor patient progress and manage treatment-related side effects, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Provide compassionate communication and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and nursing staff to ensure holistic patient care. Significant clinical experience as a Consultant Oncologist, preferably within private or specialty hospital settings. Proficient knowledge of advanced oncology treatments and multidisciplinary patient management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to counsel patients and collaborate with diverse teams. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and research. Ability and willingness to relocate to the UAE, adapting to a new cultural and regulatory environment. Familiarity with UAE healthcare system and regulations is advantageous.
