Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic‑speaking) to join a reputable healthcare organization in Qatar. The ideal candidate will deliver high‑quality ophthalmic care, perform advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures, and contribute to the continuous development of clinical services. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ocular conditions Perform advanced ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, corneal, and retinal procedures (depending on subspecialty) Manage acute and chronic eye diseases using evidence‑based treatment plans Interpret diagnostic imaging such as OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, and ocular ultrasound Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures Maintain accurate and compliant medical records in accordance with Qatari healthcare regulations Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits Contribute to the training and mentorship of junior doctors, residents, and allied health professionals Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate new techniques into practice Qualifications Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution Board certification in Ophthalmology Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience Proficiency in ophthalmic surgeries relevant to the candidate’s subspecialty Strong communication skills with fluency in Arabic (required) Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced clinical environment Must hold or be eligible for Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) licensing Salary: 70000 - 90000 QAR Per month
