Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist (Arabic‑speaking) to join a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide high‑quality ophthalmic care, perform advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ocular conditions Perform advanced ophthalmic procedures and surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, corneal, and retinal interventions (based on subspecialty) Manage acute and chronic eye diseases with evidence‑based treatment plans Interpret diagnostic imaging such as OCT, fundus photography, visual fields, and ultrasound Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative patient care Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with Saudi healthcare regulations Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits Contribute to training and mentoring junior doctors, residents, and allied health staff Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and integrate new techniques into practice Qualifications Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution Board certification in Ophthalmology Minimum 5 years of post‑qualification experience Proficiency in performing ophthalmic surgeries relevant to the candidate’s subspecialty Strong communication skills with fluency in Arabic (required) Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced clinical environment Must hold or be eligible for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) licensing Salary: 80000 - 90000 SAR Per month
