We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert ophthalmic care, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, and performing necessary surgical procedures. This role demands a commitment to excellence in patient care, continuous learning, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic assessments. Diagnose and manage a wide range of eye diseases and conditions. Perform advanced ophthalmic surgical procedures including cataract and glaucoma surgeries. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care. Educate patients and families on ocular health and preventive care. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with clinical standards and regulations. Engage in professional development and stay abreast of advancements in ophthalmology. Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution. Active and valid license to practice as an Ophthalmologist. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist. Proven expertise in performing complex ophthalmic surgeries. Strong clinical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
