Description
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our healthcare team. The Consultant Ophthalmologist will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, performing surgical procedures, and providing excellent patient care using the latest ophthalmic technologies. This role requires a professional committed to advancing eye health and delivering exceptional clinical services. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed eye examinations and diagnostic assessments to identify visual disorders. Develop and execute treatment plans, including medical management and surgical interventions. Carry out ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract extraction, glaucoma surgery, and refractive procedures. Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery and outcomes. Educate patients and their families on eye health, disease prevention, and treatment options. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations. Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology through ongoing professional development. Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology. Valid and current medical license to practice. At least 5 years’ experience in a Consultant Ophthalmologist role. Proficiency in performing a range of ophthalmic surgical procedures. Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to quality care. Fluency in English; additional language skills a plus.
