About the job


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, perform surgical and non-surgical treatments, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgical procedures.
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment and surgical plans.
  • Perform procedures related to trauma, fractures, joint disorders, and other orthopedic conditions.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
  • Interpret and assess diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI.
  • Manage complex orthopedic cases and provide specialist consultations.
  • Work closely with physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.


Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery, with proven expertise in orthopedic procedures and patient management.
  • Strong experience in orthopedic surgery, trauma management, and musculoskeletal care.
  • Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
